Why wasn't my grant proposal
funded?
Our
approach to instruction is to utilize as much real world, interactive, and
applied learning as possible. We scaffold topics so that concepts build on
and reinforce each other. Students increase confidence with early success
with in-class activities that become more difficult in measured steps of
difficulty. Workshop topics and content is tailored to your organization and
needs so that all examples reflect on your real world issues. Completed
class work documents become the foundation of future proposal development.
When you leave class you will be most of the way to a completed proposal.
We
believe that learning grant development and proposal writing is best done
in relation to overall organizational readiness and within a total funding
strategy. Competition for philanthropic dollars is growing as
exponentially as community need. Funders are not willing to finance
ineffective organizations and their programs or organizations without
comprehensive funding strategies. Training to be an effective organization
is integral to being a strong grant applicant. Bright Star’s training
incorporates organizational readiness into grant development and writing
skill sets so that integration is natural and clearly understood. |
